Saturday, March 15th, 2008No strip today. I’ve had way too much Smash Bros. Smash Bros and Pizza. But it’s a sweet excess let me tell you. If you’re playing online let me know! Rock Band too (PS3).
Anyway, instead of a comic, I’m giving you this blog entry. I know that doesn’t sound like a fair trade, but I’m a horrible person.
I’ll say thanks to those of you who’ve decided to keep an eye on this ink-ridden journey of mine; I don’t know how long it’ll last, but as the old saying goes, “Derek will continue for now because he does not have much better to do.”
It’s been fun so far. A little annoying too. I’m a neurotic writer first and a cartoonist second (if you couldn’t tell by my cave-man level of drawing) and sometimes I get hung up on the phrasing of things to such a ridiculous extent that I start to question my sanity. But that’s where the video games and grease pies come in; they fill in all the holes I’ve poked in my brain and I soldier on to… something…
